Worms Armageddon Anniversary Edition is blasting to release this September
Team17 and Digital Eclipse have announced that on September 26th, war will return as Worms Armageddon Anniversary Edition will arrive onto Switch, Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
If you are wondering why its called Anniversary Edition, that is because the series is now 25 years old and while the game has been on PC for sometime, console players have been left waiting.
On September 26, the wait will be over, but it won’t just be the original game made to work on modern hardware, as the team have made some adjustments and updates. One such update is the modern aspect rations, as you must remember, this was first released when 1024x768 was the standard resolution.
In addition an interactive museum that charts the history of the entire series. Featuring never-before-seen interviews with developers of the original and current games.
Plus if that was not enough, there is a second game included as the GameBoy Color version of Worms Armageddon is also included.
The battlefield awaits this September 26th for Switch, PlayStation and Xbox.
