Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader's DLC Void Shadows slinks back into the shadows for a little more time
Owlcat Games have announced that Void Shadows, the expansion for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader will not release in August as planned, but will now arrive on September 24.
The reason why is as you might expect, they just want more time to ensure the content meets their own expectations, and that of players, as well as eradicating anything that might spoil players’ experience as they investigate the darkest corners of their voidship or romance a new companion.
"Void Shadows" is the first DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, offering around 15 hours of new content. Players, as the Lord Captain, can delve into the lives of the voidship's denizens and confront a new threat from its darkest corners. This expansion includes new quests, unique equipment, and additional lore, all seamlessly integrated into the main campaign.
The DLC also introduces a new companion, Kibellah, a Death Cult Assassin, who can develop a strong personal bond with the Lord Captain. Players will face the malignant Genestealer Cult, a horrific breed of xenos that infects the crew to twist their loyalties. You can check out the trailer for the new Death Cult Assassin below.
The DLC will arrive on September 24th for PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
