Tropico 6 adds more layers with new DLC
In December, there were a few things that released that I missed, I mean it is the busy season after all, but one of those things was that Tropico 6, the latest entry in the popular series, released a brand new content pack, the first for the game and adds a lot to the game, including Llamas*.
One of the big additions tot he game, with the release of the this DLC is that stock markets and trade become even more crucial, as you can now manipulate the stock market, to make sure you succeed. On top of that if you decide to use the Trade Institute building, you can directly influence the in-game economy by altering the value of goods such as shellfish, tourist fees, or even a dictator’s favorite, uranium.
The DLC also adds random economic events. Greased with Arabian Oil sees a hefty tariff added to goods traded with the Middle East and USA, whilst The Brink of Chaos event inflates the value of weapons, canned goods, steel and other items instrumental to surviving an apocalypse.
On top of that, there are new buildings like the Toy Workshop, and the Smart Furniture Studio.
*Also, Llamas may or may not be present, Llama experience may very.
