Trackmania kicks off a new season of content, along with celebrating 2 years
Ubisoft have announced that Trackmania, the free-to-play version of the game on PC at least, has been updated with a new season, bringing new tracks and trophies. Beyond that, the game has a new championship series and more, all in celebration of the game hitting 2 years old, check out the trailer below to see what the new season brings.
While it might be cold down here, things are heating up in the game, as the Summer 2022 campaign has launched and is the 9th seasonal campaign in Trackmania and which includes 25 new tracks to compete on and 100 new medals to collect. These 25 new tracks are also available in the Ranked 3v3 game mode, available with Starter access.
These new tracks will also let you discover all Trackmania surfaces again, in a new campaign distributed across 5 different levels of difficulty, all with a Summer theme. It's time to take a deep dip in the water and enjoy the beach! Summer will guide you throughout your journey on these brand-new maps.
For those who want to race towards a goal, then this will be something for you. “Trackmania, One Million Trees” is a “by players, for players” Green Game Jam initiative, which aims to raise awareness about the positive impact of planting trees.
From July 11th to September 15th, a community contest will invite all creative players to create green tracks and share within the tracks their knowledge about environmental challenges and potential solutions. The 7 best of them will be selected for the “Trackmania Green Week” starting on October 3rd.
Finally, from Saturday, July 9th 2:30am AEST to Tuesday, July 12th 2:55am AEST, all players will be able to access for free the exclusive Track Of The Day online servers and Cup Of The Day content, normally reserved to premium accesses, which highlight the amazing tracks created by players for players.
