The TAG Heuer Super Mario Watch looks great, but it will cost you a lot and is limited
Last week a teaser site went up for a watch, made by Tag Heuer and Nintendo and while officially it will be revealed in a few days, details for it have come out, including the price.
While we don’t know when it will go on sale, you can register to be notified here, we do know that it is meant to have only 2,000 made. That is it, once they are gone, they are gone and while again, not confirmed, the price is set to be $2,150 USD or roughly $2,870 AUD, so it would make for one expensive watch.
If you get one though, it will make use of Wear OS, something created by TAG themselves, packed within it is the ability to use a “gamification rewards system”, with Mario and other Mushroom Kingdom themed animations popping up, as you complete step goals and likely other ones, through out the day.
There are also four new Mario themed facts, including one that features elements from the original Super Mario Bros game. Of course the Mario extra’s don’t stop there, the dial on the side of the watch features the Mario M, the clasp on the band also sports it as well.
What say you, will you consider getting one of these for yourself?
