The Sims 4 has gone to school with Discover University out now
EA and Maxis have announced that school is in session for the Sims 4, as the latest expansion, Discover University is now available. This expansion is EA’s most requested piece of content, bringing to life the expansive collegiate world of Britechester and introducing a multitude of new content for Simmers to enjoy.
Discover University introduces two new campus experiences in the world of Britechester where Sims can pursue their higher education: for arts and humanities majors, the historical University of Britechester, and for careers in science and technology fields, the modern Foxbury Institute. Both campuses offer Sims the chance to prepare for the real world, particularly in the new career tracks in law, engineering and teaching, as well as developing skills to help them excel in existing career paths. Embracing college life is unique to each player, as they can choose to study hard and keep their grades up or skip classes to hang out with friends in their dorm rooms.
Simmers can partake in a multitude of college-themed activities, including, but not limited to:
Strutting their style in new campus gear
Enrolling in classes that pique their interest
Joining in on the fun of extracurricular activities like robotics, art and debate
Decorating dorm rooms with new decor that reflects a Sim’s personality
Gathering friends for a game of juice pong
Playing a prank on the rival school
Exploring the campus on a bicycle or mingling in the commons
