The Outer Worlds first DLC is coming this September
During the Xbox Games Showcase, Obsidian Entertainment showed off three games, well two games and some DLC, but that DLC is for The Outer Worlds, which is a nice addition. Peril on Gorgon will send players to the Gorgon Asteroid to investigate the mysterious origin of Adrena-Time, check out the debut trailer below.
In order to venture to this new location, players will need the base game, which is included in Xbox Game Pass and gone past Monarch for the first time. With those requirements met, you can travel to the Gorgon Asteroid and while there, you’ll find new weapons and armor, perks, flaws, and the same freedom to approach your problems that made the original game so rewarding.
The first of the two planned narrative DLC’s will arrive for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 on September 9 and is priced at $22.95, though Xbox Game Pass subscribers can save 10%. If you know will be buying the second one, which is not yet formally announced, you can buy a season pass at a discount, $37.95 for the two.
If you are wanting to play the DLC on Switch, you might have to wait a while, as via the Washington Post “Obsidian confirmed that they are having an “open conversation” about it, and plan to port the DLC to the device at a later, unspecified date“
