The match begins in August as Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is finally dated

Level5 have announced that Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will release this August, the 21st to be exact and will finally give players a chance to head back to school and become a soccer star. Check out the latest trailer for the game below
In addition to the game getting a release date, there are changes to the platform line up. The game was going to come to mobile devices, but that is no longer the case. Now the game will come to Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. Those last two platforms are new additions.
There is a lot of content to enjoy in the game, there are over 5,000 characters after all. But the two main offerings are Story Mode and Chronicle Mode, here is a little on each of those.
Story Mode
This new story takes place 25 years after the first Inazuma Eleven.
In search of a world without football, protagonist Destin Billows enrolls at South Cirrus Junior High. Meanwhile, within the prestigious Raimon Junior High—renowned as the top team in the nationals—rises a “football monster” named Harper Evans. When these two cross paths, a tale begins to unfold…
Chronicle Mode
A roster spanning over 5,200 characters from previous entries in the series!
Relive past Inazuma Eleven matches with Victorio, the boy who came from the future. Take on various teams, collect and train characters, and build your ultimate dream team!
