The launch trailer for Age of Empires II Definitive Edition for Xbox is here

After revealing that the game was coming last year, there hasn’t been a lot of information on the upcoming console release for Age of Empires II Definitive Edition, but that has changed today, with the official launch trailer.

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is one of the most beloved strategy games ever made and now for the first time on Xbox and Xbox Game Pass, featuring brand new mechanics optimized for controller for both new and seasoned players alike. Enjoy 200+ hours of historical campaign gameplay, 1,000 years of human history and 35 civilizations from the comfort of your living room.

The game is of course already on PC, but this marks the series debut on consoles, we can forget the early mobile games though. Age of Empires IV is also on its way, with it aiming to release later in 2023.
