The Gunk is coming to Xbox exclusively in 2021
What does a developer, known for their incredible 2D games do, when they want to try something new, well that is what Image and Form did, announcing during the Xbox Games Showcase, The Gunk, an all new game, in an all new dimension and coming in September 2021, exclusively to Xbox Series X and Xbox One.
The Gunk tells the story of two friends who run a small scavenging operation and travel across space to different locations, in search of things they can harvest and sell. During a routine search, they discover a planet that appears dead at first, but when they get close they realise that a slimy substance, or gunk if you prefer, is coving vast patches of the surface.
When they clean up some of, life springs back up in the same area and cause them to pause, asking the question, should they clean up the rest as there is a lot and they have their own problems.
