The Games of April 2021
We are one quarter done for the year and normally April would be a bit of a quiet month, March being the period when most big games ship, but today and the last day of the month, both have big releases, with the days inbetween filled as well.
The selection of games is quite varied as well, some are big names, others are new and then you have a few returning icons, either way you look at it, April has a lot to look forward to, starting with the game out today.
Outriders
April 1 - Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4
Outriders is a 1-3 player co-op RPG shooter set in an original, dark and desperate sci-fi universe. As mankind bleeds out in the trenches of Enoch, you’ll create your own Outrider and embark on a journey across the hostile planet.
Oddworld: Soulstorm
April 6 - PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC
Abe is back and now he is more resourceful than ever, because in his quest to save as many of his fellow mudukons as he can, he will loot the corpses of his victims, or just the world around him, to craft new tools to help out. Plus with new abilities and the ever reliable portal, there is a lot to look forward too.
Star Wars: Republic Commando
April 6 - Switch, PlayStation 4
Aspyr have been doing good work lately, bringing classic Star Wars games to modern consoles and this might be their most unique one todate. A squad based game, played from a first person perspective, its quite unique, but also amazing.
SaGa Frontier Remastered
April 15 - Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, iOS, Android
The beloved 1998 RPG Classic, SaGa Frontier, is reborn with improved graphics, additional features, and the all new character, Fuse. Shadow Man Remastered
April 15 - PC

MLB The Show 21
April 20 - PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One
Baseball is America’s past time to be sure, but this year, it is about time that the game comes multiplatform, with Sony’s flagship sports title releasing on Xbox as well as PlayStation. There isn’t much to say here, the game will have the usual incredible visuals, some wicked animations. Next gen players will also get access to the Stadium builder, exclusive to them and after this was posted, it was announced that the game will launch into Xbox Game Pass
Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack

MotoGP 21

Judgment

That is of course, not all the games coming this month, there are many more and that does not include games that will release out of nowhere, or DLC that will do the same, I mean March saw the second DLC’s for DOOM Eternal and Immortal Fenyx Rising drop out of nowhere.
