The first trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water is here and looks stunning
If you saw Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness over the last few days, then you will have seen the first teaser trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water, the sequel more than a decade in the making. As promised 20th Century Studios have now released it online, so you can watch it anywhere.
I was lucky enough to see the trailer early, as part of my preview screening for Doctor Strange 2 and it looked stunning in 3D, so it may be time to dust off those glasses once more.
Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure. Directed by James Cameron and produced by Cameron and Jon Landau, the film stars Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement and Kate Winslet.
The movie will release in cinemas across the country on December 15.
