The first look at season 4 of The Witcher is here

Netflix have released the first tease of Season 4 of The Witcher, specifically showing off Liam Hemsworth as Geralt, a role that he got after Henry Cavill put away his swords, check it out.

Production on the fourth season has been going for a few weeks now and will actually be filmed back to back with the fifth and final season, so with luck that won’t mean years between seasons again.

It is with huge pride that we begin shooting our penultimate season of The Witcher with a stellar cast, including some exciting new additions, led by Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia. We’re thrilled to be able to bring Andrzej Sapkowski’s books to an epic and satisfying conclusion. It wouldn’t be our show if we didn’t push our family of characters to their absolute limit — stay tuned to see how the story ends.
— Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, Creator and Showrunner

The fourth and fifth seasons will cover Sapkowski’s three remaining books: Baptism of Fire, The Tower of the Swallow, and Lady of the Lake. While filming has begun, there is no release date for the fourth season, though likely mid-2025 at the earliest, if not the end of the year.

We also got a few photos and some video from what is likely one of the first table reads of the new season, in which you can see Hemsworth sitting behind the little Geralt name tag. You may also spot Laurence Fishburne in one of the photos, he has joined the series, however his role has not been announced.

The video can be found in the below tweet.
