The Fantastic Four: First Steps gets a teaser trailer
Marvel Studios have released the first teaser trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which gives us a great look at each of the characters, but teases a bit more.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family — Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ben Grimm/The Thing — as they face their most daunting challenge yet.
The family is played by Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. The movie also stars Julia Garner as the Silver Surfer and Ralph Ineson as Galactus, which judging by the trailer is not a giant cloud this time. Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne and Sarah Niles also star.
Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer. And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.
The movie will arrive in local screens on July 24.
In addition to the trailer, Marvel also released a series of posters, which all evoke a sense of pride around the family, similar to that of the astronauts that went to the moon.
