Bring Subjects Back from the Dead
The developers know that losing a special subject can be hard, so they have now provided players with the necromantic power to resurrect any subjects you want to bring back.
You can resurrect subjects with Soul Gems, which you can get from Legendary Loot Boxes and Heirlooms. The Gems will also be available for purchase in the Castles store at a later date.
The resurrection applies to situations where your favourite subject has died of old age or while you were attending to real-world duties, and of course, when they’re assassinated. They can now live again!
Updates to Sheogorath's Gauntlet
Updates have also been made to the Gauntlet. Now, you can select between favours every three waves to help your subjects fight on in the Gauntlet. In addition, wave bosses will appear every ten waves.
You have the opportunity to receive Sheogorath's Loot packs, a unique drop in this mode, guaranteed to include a rare, epic or legendary piece of gear to further your ventures beyond the Castle walls.
Extra Dynasty Levels
With this update, more dynasty levels have been added, which means that now Dynasty levels go up to 300.
Friends and Leaderboards
Finally, you can compare progress with your friends on a given platform, and other Castles players all over the world! As of today, a new leaderboard system that tracks player scores based on a new algorithm (your “Castle Score”), has been added. This new system also tracks progress in Sheogorath's Gauntlet (based on highest wave reached).
Please note that, with the launch of the leaderboards, all high scores are being reset.
