The Division: Resurgence is bringing the action to mobile phones with an all-new title
Ubisoft have announced that The Division is going mobile and sadly that does not mean on the Switch, but instead with The Division Resurgence, an all-new mobile version of the popular shooter, check out the reveal trailer for it below.
As with any mobile game these days, it will be free-to-play, so get ready for in-game transactions, but it will continue the story from the console games.
In this new game, players will deploy to New York City in the first wave of Strategic Homeland Division (SHD) Agents, and gain a new perspective on key story events from The Division and The Division 2.
Much like the mainline series, the game can be played entirely solo or you can team up with a friend and take to the streets of New York. The controls are going to be optimised for mobile, but no word on any external controller support. What is interesting though, the game will bring forth a new character class, meaning that long time players will have a new challenge to enjoy.
There is no release date for the game yet, but you can sign up to take part in the games Alpha, which will not only give you a taste of the action, but also help shape the development of the game. If that sounds like something you want to do, check out the games official website for the sign up link.
