The Diofield Chronicle is bringing the battle to players this September
Square Enix have announced that The Diofield Chronicle, their new real time strategy game that was announced back in March, will release for all platforms this September 22nd, with a demo for the game coming in August. Check out the release date trailer for the game below.
In The DioField Chronicle, players can experience, what Square Enix call a “Real Time Tactical Battle – a new, deeply strategic, real-time battle system”. Part of the games appeal will be that mechanic, for but for some it will be the gritty and immersive storyline, crafted by a skilled and experienced development team featuring unique character designs by Taiki (Lord of Vermilion III, IV), concept art by Isamu Kamikokuryo (FINAL FANTASY XII, FINAL FANTASY XIII) and beautifully orchestrated music by world-renowned composers Ramin Djawadi and Brandon Campbell, known best for their work on Game of Thrones.
Those who want to check the game out early, can do so on August 10 when a demo for the game hits all platforms, with all save data from the demo being carried across to the full game.
Finally, Square Enix have announced that the game will come in both a standard and a digital deluxe release. Players who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition will receive in-game items for use from near the start of the main game, including the Knight’s Spear weapon and Mystical Ring accessory, as well as digital versions of The DioField Chronicle soundtrack and Digital Artbook.
The game will release on September 22nd for Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
