The Big Stories You May Have Missed Last Week - E3 Special
With E3 2021 last week, there was a lot of news, like an insane amount, so rather than picking out the top 5 stories, we have wrapped up the 5 biggest events, so you can catch up on anything you might have missed, look for a top 5 reveals soon though.
Summer Games Fest Kick Off Live
Technically not part of E3 2021, but given that it was the first event, we have included it here, from smaller games to massive ones, there was a lot here and of course, the reveal of the first gameplay for Elden Ring
Ubisoft Forward @ E3 2021
Ubisoft have done a few of these Forward events now and while the format might need some work, they do tend to pack the news in, once they get going. From a new Rainbow Six game, to a sequel to Mario+Rabbids, there was big range here.
Xbox+Bethesda 2021 Games Showcase
Kicking off with a Bethesda game in Starfield, and then ending with one via Redfall, you might think this was all about them, but in between, we got new looks at Halo Infinite, Flight Simulator and the surprise reveal of Forza Horizon 5
Square Enix Presents E3 2021
Square Enix teased their line up before the show, but Guardians of the Galaxy was a big reveal, so much so that they spent half of their show on it. A look at Babylon’s Fall and Final Fantasy Origin were also big draws.
Nintendo E3 2021 Direct
The last big showcase of the show, Nintendo were always going to be the dark horse going in, but they quickly delivered, with Tekken coming to Smash Bros, Metroid Dread living on and Advance Wars back for one more skirmish. The big reveal was at the end, when we got a new trailer for the sequel to The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild
So what say you, what was your favourite showcase for E3 2021, was there a company missing that you wanted to see show up?
