Tekken 8 will welcome Lidia and more with its next major update

Bandai Namco have announced the second DLC character for Tekken 8, Lidia Sobieski, who will arrive this Winter, alongside a major update for the game. Check out the first trailer for her and the update below.

This is not the first time that we will have seen Lidia in the game, as she is a returning character. She is the second one to join the ranks after Eddy.

Yes the image above says Summer for Lidia, but that is because Bandai Namco is based out of Japan and they do seasons opposite to us. That means when you see social posts about the summer update, they mean Winter for those down under.

So the first big update will arrive sometime this Winter and include a new stage - the Seaside Resort, along with a photo mode for the game.

Then in Spring, an all-new story mode connected to Eddy will be released for all, for free and if that was not enough, Ghost vs. Ghost and Online Practice are going to be added some time in the future as well.
