Tekken 8 reveals what new content is coming

Bandai Namco have released details about the future of Tekken 8, with what is coming in the games Winter update, along with what is coming in 2025. Check out the trailer to get a quick rundown.

Here is a breakdown of the updates coming this ‘Winter’, that is sarcasm as the update will arrive in our Summer.

• Photo mode enhancements

  • Wetness/Grime additions

  • New controls for hands and face

• Player Search added

  • Lets you locate a specific player

• Bonus levels added to Fight Pass

  • Increasing the free pass to 65

These are the updates coming in early 2025:

• Additional customisation slots added

• Customised characters will now appear in the background of the main menu

• Tekken Fan Art being showcased in the game

  • There is no word on where it will be shown off, however one shows character art as character profiles at the start of a fight

• New 30th Anniversary Fight Pass

  • Adds new free items, some items include new t-shirts

  • Paid pass adds new graffiti, gold inspired outfits and more

In Autumn 2025 Season 2 Fight Pass will arrive, along with a major balance update. All characters in the game will get new moves as part of that update.

Speaking of characters, the final character from the Year 1 Pass will be revealed later this week, so place your bets on who it might be.
