Street Fighter 6 details its opening line up, frame counting mechanic and more
As part of their Tokyo Game Show coverage, Capcom hosted a Street Fighter deep dive event, where they went into a lot of detail about things, far more than they did during their first showcase. Part of the content shown off was the the opening movie for the game, which you can watch below.
The opening movie actually features art of the 18 characters on the launch roster for Street Fighter 6: Luke, Jamie, Manon, Kimberly, Marisa, Lily, JP, Juri, Dee Jay, Cammy, Ryu, E. Honda, Blanka, Guile, Ken, Chun-Li, Zangief, and Dhalsim.
In addition, they also went into a lot of detail about the games training mode, specifically how the new Frame Meter works, so you can learn exactly how long each part of your characters moves will last, something that die hard fans have been manually counting since the SNES era. You can get all the details here.
Finally, if you have a spare hour, you can check out the presentation below, which is dubbed in English, and you can see everything direct from the developers.
