Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions is offering a galactic good time in 2026
There was so much news out of last weeks Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, that we are still playing catch up, but one we wanted to make sure that we spotlighted was Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions. Check out the teaser trailer for it below.
If the name Astroneer sounds familiar, that is because there is already a game from the studio that you can play now. Where things change with this game is that it has a focus on discovery, cooperative expeditions, and camaraderie. What you should understand before anything else is that this is not replacing the existing game, that will continue to evolve and grow and nor is this sequel to that game. Starseeker is a parallel game, think of it like the Clone Wars tv series to the main Star Wars movies.
Exploring deep space on the ESS Starseeker, players will need to work together with the entire crew of the space station to complete planet-wide objectives across a multitude of star systems using cutting edge technology.
Players will have an advanced set of tools at their disposal to tackle expeditions while they face off with the unknown perils of space: fascinating creatures, hazardous flora, and mysterious forces that await them.
