Star Wars The Old Republic is bringing in dates and more with its next update
Last week, the team Broadsword, the new developers for Star Wars The Old Republic hosted another live stream where they detailed the next update, 7.4.1, which is coming soon.
Of course, you can watch the entire livestream at the bottom of the story, should you have a 50 minutes to spare, else here are the highlights.
Kicking things off is Galactic Season 6, which will bring players to a familiar location, Copero. Players will be working with Inrokini family bringing them records of galactic events in exchange for the use of Chiss technology. The reward track features a brand new Stronghold based in Copero that players can unlock.
Once players complete the story and unlock the stronghold, there are more story missions to discover and more rooms to unlock, and if you wanted to really embrace Copero, a new themed bundle will be available on the cartel market.
Speaking of the cartel market, two new armour and weapon sets are coming, first up is the Prime Centurion and Gothic Master Armours and the second is the Gothic Master Dualsaber and Lightsaber.
For those who are PvP fans, there is a new season to enjoy, with Pirate’s Plunder kicking off at the end of the month, of course there are new rewards to enjoy. One of the rewards is the Plunderer's Greed / Outlaw Warrior Armour, which is the blue tinted option below, the other one is the Cunning Plunderer / Outlaw Battler Armour.
There are more rewards, playing the game is the best way to discover them all.
Perhaps the biggest content inclusion in this update is the Date Night. This new addition is actually weekly repeatable, cinematic-only missions designed to give players some personal time with their love interests. Game Update 7.4.1 will feature four companions: Lana Beniko, Arcann, Theron Shan, and Koth Vortena.
The goal is that with each new Galactic Season, more companions will be added, with the team aiming for 2, but there will at least be 1 in each update.
The last big update news is around the games transfer to the Shae Vizla server, for all that, you are best to watch the video below.
Speaking of watching, the video ended with a tease at update 7.5, which is called Desperate Defiance and will take players to Hutta.
