Star Wars is coming to Destiny 2: Heresy

Bungie hosted another Destiny 2 livestream where they dove into all things Heresy, the upcoming season of content coming to the game, including some Star Wars content.

During the stream, which you can watch below, the team explained some details about the return to the Dreadnaught, the Hive ship that players will know from the original game. It won’t just be venturing to the iconic ship, but players will discover a resurgence of familiar enemies, but also some friends and an all-new Echo.

In addition the developers also showcased a new activity, The Nether, new weapons and gear, new subclass aspects, and the upcoming Sundered Doctrine Dungeon Race, launching on February 8 for those down under.

The big surprise reveal was that Bungie has announced a partnership with Lucasfilm Games, which will bring a few Star Wars themed outfits and items to the game. These will include trooper and Royal Guard outfits, which if you couldn’t tell by the art are from the side of the bad guys, hopefully some good guy armour arrives in the future. These sets will be added to the game alongside the release of Destiny 2: Heresy launches on February 5
