New content is here for Destiny 2's Into The Light campaign
Destiny 2 developers Bungie recently hosted another live stream, where they went into detail on the ‘Into the Light’ campaign, a 2 month release of content as the lead up to The Final Shape, the last expansion for Destiny 2.
There was a lot shown off during it, so we are just going to give you the highlights, if you want everything in detail then checking out the stream at the bottom of the story is the best thing you can do.
First up, check out the infographic, which will give you the best indication of when content is arriving and what content it is, as you can see there is content out now and then more coming in May, with some available until June 3rd, which is the day before the launch of The Final Shape.
One of the new things available now is the Onslaught PvE game mode, where team will need to fight back against waves of enemies.
Also available now is the Brave Arsenal, a collection of fan favourite weapons and gear, with a selection today and then more coming each week for the rest of the month.
Also available now is the Hall of Champions, a new social space for players to hang out and enjoy a look at the best of the game.
The Final Shape is not just a new map or enemies to fight, though it has both, it will also include the new Prismatic subclass, which combines both the powers of the Light and the Darkness.
Alongside the three new Light Supers previously announced, Guardians will wield the Light and Darkness together for the first time to unleash the Prismatic subclass. This subclass introduces new options to enhance and customise each playstyle with the combination of multiple element types. Also, each class will get a unique grenade that combines multiple subclass elements: Warlocks will have Stasis/Void, Titans will have Strand/Arc, and Hunters will have Solar/Stasis.
