Star Trek: Resurgence will boldly go into some familiar ground next year

During The Game Awards a new studio, Dramatic Labs, revealed their debut title and while the studio itself might be new, it is actually made up of a good portion of developers from the old Telltale Games.

Star Trek Resurgence will follow a similar gameplay style, where choice is critical and each one you make can impact everything going forward, check out the reveal trailer for the game below.

Because Star Trek has a number of time periods where events happen, one of the questions many folks were going to be asking is, when is the game set. It is set in the year 2380, in the era immediately following the Star Trek: The Next Generation feature films, so if you know those, this should feel familiar to you.

The game is due out soon, it is set to engage warp drives in the Autumn of 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
