Sonic Superstars is dashing to release this October
Sega has released new details for the multiplayer mode that players can enjoy when Sonic Superstars is released, oh and they also said when that was going to happen, September 17th. Check out the new multiplayer focused trailer below.
Much like every other “multiplayer” trailer, the game is highlighting what you can do when there are two or more players on the screen, but the game can be played solo.
Yes, you can play through the entire campaign with up to three other players in drop-in and drop-out local co-op, if you want to make things more deadly, there is the local only battle mode, that does require more than one player. But if you are still solo and want to test your Sonic skills against other players, there is the online challenge mode where up to 7 players can take part.
The game is hitting Switch, Xbox, PlayStation and PC on September 17th.
