Sonic Superstars is bringing four player speed to the series for the first time
Sega have announced that Sonic and friends are getting another game this year, Sonic Origins Plus is out this month, but Sonic Superstars is all new. Well the look is, the gameplay is rooted in the iconic 2d past, but with a new visual style. Check out the announcement trailer below.
Play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose and harness all-new Emerald powers to move and attack in dynamic new ways. Navigate gorgeous, never-before-seen environments solo or with up to 3 other players and stop Dr. Eggman, Fang, and a mysterious new adversary from converting the islands' giant animals into Badniks before it's too late.
While past Sonic games have allowed for 2 players to enjoy the fun, this game will welcome 4 players, with each player taking control of a character as they save the world.
The game is coming to Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and PC sometime in the Spring months, but there is no firmer date than that at this time.
