Silent Hill The Short Message speaks to all PlayStation 5 owners as it releases today for free
Konami surprised everyone with the reveal of another new Silent Hill game, the fourth title announced for the series in recent years, but unlike the remake of Silent Hill 2 or that weird interactive game/tv thing, this is an all-new game and is out today, exclusively on PlayStation 5.
Before you watch the video below, and the others further down, it is important to know that this game contains depictions of suicide, self-harm, abuse, trauma and bullying that may be distressing to some users. Should you need support for any reason, please reach out to Lifeline Australia.
This latest chapter in the Silent Hill saga is a short game with a complete story that is independent of the previous and upcoming titles in the series. The game is set in the present day and deals with the theme of slander and bullying on social networking sites – a contemporary theme familiar in modern day society.
Alongside the release of the game, which you can get here, Konami has also released a heap of behind the scenes videos, with the director, cast, and development team, you can check them out below.
There is no word on if the game will make its way to other platforms, so for now PlayStation 5 is the only place to enjoy it.
