Silent Hill Ascension delivers a new trailer that still leaves questions about
Konami and Genvid have released a proper trailer for Silent Hill Ascension, which shows off some of the world and characters that players will get to see when the game/interactive movie releases later this year, check it out.
The game will follow multiple main characters from locations around the world tormented by new and terrifying Silent Hill monsters. Lurking in the shadows, these monsters threaten to consume people, their children, and entire towns as they're drawn into the darkness by both recent murders and long suppressed guilt and fears.
Perhaps the most unique thing about the game is that the way the story unfolds will be determined by the audience, as this is not a traditional game. Choices will be made by those watching and the choices will take the game in places that not even the developers know, except of course for the fact they will have made possible endings.
The only real question, apart from how this is played, is where it will be played as no platforms have been announced. As a streaming based game, it is likely to be done through a web browser, but there is no word on that. There is also no word on a release date, outside of late 2023.
