Shredders is set to carve out a release for Xbox and PC later this month

Foam Punch has announced that Shredders, the snowboarding game that is made by folks who live the sport, will arrive on Xbox Series X|S and PC on March 17 and will launch into Xbox Game Pass as well.

There is a little story behind Shredders, at least a reason as to why you are being filmed.

You and your friend Scotty are making goofball snowboarding videos at the Frozen Wood resort when brand ambassador Lisa makes an offer for some sponsored clips. She gives you a glimpse into a whole new world of snowboarding, with pro riders, snowmobiles, and epic spots to hit. Give it all you got and shred your way into the kick-ass invitational!

So that is what gets you started, but it isn’t just made up brands for the game, no some of the worlds most well known brands are included, like Oakley, Skullcandy, The North Face and Volcom, to name a few. Just as important as the gear though, are the folks you will be boarding with, such as Sebbe De Buck, Marcus Kleveland and Jill Perkins.

Getting lessons from the pros and wearing the right gear is only the start, because you will unnlock a huge and open world, full of pow and parks, gorgeous scenery, and amazing lines. Every area is hand-sculpted for maximum flow, and the snow is always fresh, meaning that you can find some incredible and diverse terrain, perfect for those who want to explore or stick to the safe route.

The developers behind the title are promising that no snowboarding game has ever had this level of control, so you will be able to shred with feeling and refine your own unique style. Carving, buttering, tweaking tricks, and the sensation of floating on fresh powder all feels amazing.

Plus with multiplayer built into the core of the game, you can shred with friends, or challenge them to beat your scores, no matter your skill level.
