Sennheiser step into the wireless world with the GSP 670 headset
Sennheiser have today announced their latest set of headphones, the GSP 670, which continues the trend of audio quality and comfort that the company has perfected over the years, but with one big change, it is now wireless.
The headphones connect to both PC and PlayStation 4, using a USB dongle, that pairs via an internally developed low latency bluetooth connection. But as it has a bluetooth connection, it will also pair to mobile devices and others that have it as well.
As the headset is wireless, it does have a battery and it will last between 16 and 20 hours, depending on how it is being used and if it does go flat, Sennheiser have said a 7-minute charge will give you 2 hours of life again.
"The Sennheiser GSP 670 is the result of years of development and is not only our first wireless headset, but also the best wireless headset for gamers to date. It combines all the strengths for which Sennheiser is well-known all over the world: maximum wearing comfort, audio performance of the highest level, and clever features that you couldn't do without," says Andreas Jessen, Director of Product Management Gaming at Sennheiser Communications A/S.
The only thing to worry about is the price, at $500 AUD, they are not cheap, but with the Sennheiser name, you know it will be worth it, look for a review soon.
