Saints Row gets a new trailer and an updated release date
Saints Row may have been delayed recently, slipping back to August, but that didn’t stop the team at Volition from showcasing a new trailer at The Game Awards, check out the new trailer to see just how bonkers things can get in Santo Ileso.
In Santo Ileso, you either have the power, or you want to take it. The Saints are on a path to dominating this city, and you need to lead them as whatever Boss you want to be, this is Saints Row after all. The team are serving up Saint-on-faction action in the trailer above, as they show off just some of the ways you can head off against your rivals – there are so many options from explosive weaponry and brand new guns to an up-close and personal takedown or swift melee assault.
The many ways to dispatch your enemies to the Santo Ileso in the sky isn’t all they have in the arsenal, there are high-speed vehicle action including boats, cars, aerial assaults and of course, chaos-inducing tanks.
The game is now releasing on August 23rd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and will offer full cross-play, across the generations.
