Rise: Race the Future adds spilt-screen racing to the Switch release

VD-dev have announced that Rise: Race the Future, the arcade racer that evokes that 90’s arcade spirit, has scored a big update on Switch, allowing for 2 players to race at the same time, check out the trailer below.

Part of allowing for two players at the same time, the game now features some new and modified modes to take note of.

The challenge mode allows for players to work together, in order to complete objectives, with the results being totalled at the end of the race.

For those that like the Championship mode, it will now allow for drop-in and out of a second racer, taking control or giving control to an AI racer on the track.

Finally, the game allows for the 2-player modes to be enjoyed at either 30 or 60fps, depending on your own preference.

The game is also available on PC, via Steam, though it lacks the 2-player mode and if you want to get it on Switch, you can do so here.
