RE:Verse is Capcom's next attempt at a multiplayer game in the Resident Evil universe

Oh god, Capcom are at it again, after attempting to make multiplayer shooters in the world of Resident Evil before, and failing, Capcom have announced that as a bonus included in all versions of Resident Evil Village, players can attempt to enjoy RE:Verse

The game is a 3rd person multiplayer shooter, that sets players, in either four or six player matches, fight to the death, though death is only the beginning. When you are killed, your character will mutate into a bioweapon, allowing you to exact your revenge on those that stole your life from you.

The game will feature characters from across the 25 years of Resident Evil games, but there is no word on which characters will make the cut, though you can see some of them in the trailer and art above.

Perhaps the most unique element is that the game will feature comic book style visuals, or cell-shaded at least, but as for now, those are all the details we know.

There is no word on if the game will be available to buy on its own, so if you want it, you would need to get the full game.
