Resident Evil Re:Verse is no longer releasing this year and is now aiming at 2022
Capcom have announced that Resident Evil Re:Verse, the multiplayer game included with all copies of Resident Evil Village, will now no longer release this year, as the development team need more time to work on it.
The previously announced July 2021 launch of Resident Evil Re:Verse is being moved to 2022 so that the team can continue working to deliver a smooth gameplay experience. We will share updated launch details at a later time. Thank you for your patience and understanding. pic.twitter.com/o8hP363fjR

Given the track record that Capcom have had with multiplayer focused Resident Evil games, I would hold out hope that this is going to set the world on fire, but hey stranger things have happened.
