Return to Hyrule in Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity
Nintendo and Koei Tecmo have announced a new Hyrule Warriors game and in Age of Calamity, players will get to experience the war that was set 100 years before the events of Breath of the Wild.
The game is set to launch on November 20 and will take players back to the time before Link failed in his mission, which means that Link will again fail, as the events here have to match up with the story we already know.
Players will get to play as Link once again, but in addition, Zelda will also be playable, though she seems to make more use of the Shieka Slate than anything else. For the first time in the timeline, the four great heroes will also be playable, and while not confirmed, their anmiibo are supported as well, so maybe they are going to be summon them in battle for a short time. Not only will players hack and slash their way through swarms of enemies to defend Hyrule; they will also solve environmental puzzles, unlock weapons and skills, craft with gathered materials, visit shops to obtain items and use the power of the Sheikah Slate, which fans will recognise from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Pre-orders are open now and you can do so here, the game is also obtainable via the Nintendo Switch Online eShop Vouchers, if you have one of those you want to use.
