Rebel Cops gives you a shot to bring down a criminal empire
THQ Nordic and Weappy Studios have announced a new title in the same universe as This is not the Police, called Rebel Cops, where the bad guy has one, but you a few dedicated officers are still set to deal justice out and bring down the criminal empire that has taken over your town.
You're always out-gunned, out-numbered and low on resources. Your team is driven: not by beating the odds, but by the will to hunt down crime lord Zuev and restore justice in Ripton, and is fully prepared to sacrifice everything in the process. Hungry for better weapons and tools? Look beyond the main goals of each sandbox mission (where you'll be rescuing hostages and eliminating Zuev's henchmen) to complete optional side goals and explore other areas to unearth useful equipment.
This is not an easy game as a single hit could lead to death, as there are no hit points, so planning not only your route into a location, but out of it as well, is going to be key, to ensuring that you and your squad survive.
The best news though is that the game is coming to Switch, PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One on September 18, which is only a week and a bit away, so now the question remains, will you serve the side of justice, or revenge?
