Rainbow Six Extraction has a new date and offers to bring your mates along for free
Rainbow Six fans will have to keep waiting for a true next chapter in the series, but for fans of the Siege experience, Rainbow Six Extraction is going to launch on January 20, and will offer owners the chance to invite some friends to join them, for free.
Each edition of Extraction will unlock two Buddy Pass tokens, allowing players to invite their friends to play with them for free up to 14 days across most platforms. During the two weeks, any progression their squad members earn will transfer over when they purchase the full game, check out the video below to see what else is included with the game.
Here is a handy graphic for how the Buddy Pass works for the game, this isn’t the first game to offer something like this, but it is the first time that it has been done to a massive series like Rainbow Six.
Something else that is cool, is that the price has been brought down, with the price starting at $69.95 for PC owners and $79.95 on console, in a time when PlayStation are asking $124.95 for a next-gen game, seeing a company buck that next-gen pricing and release at a cost that most players can afford, is a welcome change.
When the game launches it will hit Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, PC owners can get the game through a number of channels including Ubisoft+, their monthly subscription service.
