Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is getting an all new adventure mode
Sega has announced, with the help of Tetris creator Alexey Pajitnov, that Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is getting an all new adventure mode, check out the trailer below.
The worlds of Puyo Puyo and Tetris have merged thanks to a mysteriously powerful being known as the Dimensional Parasite. With this threat looming, returning characters Ringo, Tee, and friends must traverse the world to pop Puyos and clear Tetriminos to rescue their pals from a dark corruption. But they'll quickly learn that there's more to their quest than meets the eye when they face the Dimensional Parasite, with new mysteries and clues to uncover as their out-of-this-world journey unfolds.
The game is hitting all the platforms, but will release on different dates. First up is Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series X on December 8, the PlayStation 5 version is set to release this year, just depends on when the date for that is. Those looking for it on PC however, will need to wait until sometime in early 2021, an exact date has been not set yet.
