Halo 3: ODST is getting ready to drop onto PC next week
Xbox and 343 Industries have announced that Halo 3: ODST will arrive in the PC release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on September 22nd, which is next week, check out the trailer for it below.
The game is coming to PC for the first time and will be fully optimised to make the most out of the platform. The entire campaign is remastered and Firefight, the games signature multiplayer mode has been updated as well.
Once this is in the collection, this will leave Halo 4 as the last game to come to the PC release of The Master Chief Collection, and given how quickly they have been releasing them, expect it by February. Something else to look forward to though, is Crossplay, which is currently being finalised for public preview.
As a general rule in matchmaking, crossplay will be input-based on a playlist level, with different playlists treated differently in order to provide the best experience while also ensuring playlists have solid populations.
