PlayStation is bringing a host of new updates to players, including folders
PlayStation have announced that a new system update for the PlayStation 5 is on its way, though it is out in beta now and it brings, among many things, 1440p support, folders.. I mean gamelists and more.
One of the big inclusions is the support for 1440p, which is a resolution that a lot of monitors use, but some TVs also offer it. The benefit to using it is that the console can still output a higher than HD image, but without sacrificing some of the additions like anti-aliasing.
Another addition is that of gamelists, or folders, they should just be called folders. These will allow you to create 15 folders per profile and up to 100 games within, something that will come in very handy with the new PlayStation Plus tiers.
You can learn all about the update on the PlayStation Blog, but there is no set date on when these features will be releasing to players.
