Phantom Spark has been announced and will speed to release on PC and Switch
During the deluge of game announcements at Gamescom, one of the titles that Thunderfall revealed was Phantom Spark, a game that comes Wipeout and F-Zero, but with a seemingly vibrant world. Check out the reveal trailer for it below.
There is no limit to your speed in Phantom Spark, encouraging you to push the boundaries and take risks to smash time trial records throughout its weaving, rollercoaster-like levels, Phantom Spark features both a full single-player campaign and the option to compete via local split-screen and online asynchronous multiplayer and will launch onto PC and Nintendo Switch. Phantom Spark’s vivid world features a host of memorable characters against which you’ll be thrust into competition during the game’s single-player campaign. Meet the guardians of every track, then utilise your knowledge and skills to beat them in 1-on-1 races in order to create links, unlock new levels and new cosmetically altered ships as you progress throughout the game.
Phantom Spark not only allows you to compete against your friends locally via split screen, but the world at large thanks to its online leaderboards. Compete against the ghosts of other players and forge new online rivalries with other players as you bid to post the perfect time on over 30 tracks.
There is no date for the game yet, but it is coming to PC and Switch whenever it does arrive.
