Obsidian are bringing Avowed to PAX Australia 2024 in Panel form
Obsidian Entertainment and Xbox are bringing Avowed to PAX Australia 2024, though its unlikely to be playable, as the studio has announced a panel for the game.
On Day One, that is Friday October 11, Production Director Ryan Warden will be at the Quokka Theatre to talk about the game, specifically around the challenges and opportunities of building a new type of gameplay experience based on an established world, where combat, art, narrative, and more must all work together to create a cohesive experience, and more.
Warden is a name you might not know that well, but the games he has worked on over the years should be familiar to you, as before he was at Obsidian he worked at both Bioware and Riot Games, with Mass Effect, Dragon Age and League of Legends credits to his name.
As for the show floor, we know Xbox are having a PC Game Pass presence with their friends at Lenovo Legion, but there is no word on if they are hosting a console booth.
