No Man's Sky is charting a course for Switch, as revealed via the new Nintendo Direct
Hello Games have announced, as part of the recent Nintendo Direct, that No Man’s Sky their galaxy exploring title, will be coming to Switch, sometime this Winter and it isn’t a cloud based title, it will run on your Switch console.
Details are scarce on just how it is all going to work, but if the team at Hello Games have proven anything over the years, its that they are not afraid of some hard work
As the trailer above confirmed all the games updates since it first released in 2016 are included, that means from the recent Frontiers update, as well as the fun Companions and even the spooky Desolation update, they are all included.
Hello Games’ Sean Murray released a blog post, talking about the Switch version and confirmed that it started life as a project with only a few team members working on it. In that same post, you can read it all here, he stated that there is more changes for the game, in order to ensure the game works perfectly on Switch.
From UI to controllers to gameplay, we’re taking the time to make this feel completely at home on the device, both on the big screen, but importantly as a portable version of No Man’s Sky
The game has a release window of Winter 2022, so that could mean June 1st or August 31st, for now we just have to wait and see, I for one can’t wait to take to the skies once again.
