No Man's Sky has changed as the Origins update adds new planets, stars and more

Hello Games have announced that No Man’s Sky has received its biggest and most ambitious date yet, because with Origins, everything is changing.

The update will change the game by adding richer worlds, more varied space and more. Planets will now have more diversity in their ecosystems, new terrain options like volcanos, new critters that roam the planets and even more like weather and massive buildings left behind by unknown folks.

The new planets that can be explored are all contained within existing systems, so no need to blast off to a previously uncharted portion of the universe. The number of new planets to explore is somewhere in the millions, so if you want to visit them all, you had best start now.

Of course, as you travel from planet to planet, you might notice that some star systems now have a secondary star, meaning they have a binary star and a ternary one, or two.

Once you arrive at these new worlds you will notice they have vast, sweeping terrain. Their mountains and vistas are on a colossal new scale, giving shape to more dramatic, awe-inspiring scenery than ever before. Whilst flora, fauna and atmospheric conditions have changed throughout the universe, existing worlds will retain their old character, allowing player bases to remain undisturbed.

There is so much more to discover, from refreshed menus, an updated tool and more, the only way to discover the big ones is to head to the main site and read all about it.
