Neon Abyss is descending upon consoles as well
Team17 and developer Veewo Games have announced that Neon Abyss has added all three consoles to its line up, after initially only being announced for PC. Neon Abyss sees players fight their way through procedurally generated dungeons, tasked by Hades with dispatching the New Gods in a colourful and fast-paced blend of run ‘n’ gun gameplay and roguelite mechanics.
As of now, the game does not have a release date for any platform, outside of 2020, but if you have a PC and want to give the game a go, there is a demo available for it. The catch is that, the harder the difficulty, the more time you get within the demo.
The catch to the game is that you will die, a lot, but don’t worry as Death is not the end. When players die, they come back more powerful than before, lasting longer with each incarnation. Plus random item drops throughout the levels will give players the chance to stack passive effects to devastating effect, and with an almost limitless number of combinations, every run will be unique
