MultiVersus is finally closing down its beta, almost a year after it kicked off

WB Games and developer Player First Games have announced that the Open Beta for Multiversus is finally coming to an end, yes the game was never officially launched. The full statement can be found in the video below.

The fact that all of the unlocks that players have earnt, will be made available when the full game is released in 2024, is a welcome change, but it also brings up another issue, charging people for content for a game that was not complete.

All the season pass content that people have bought, which won’t be refunded means that people have paid for access to in-game content that may not be representative of the final product.
