Moss: Book II is venturing out on a new quest, as it is coming to Quest 2
Polyarc have announced that Quill is set to adventure elsewhere, having released on PlayStation VR late last month and as such Moss: Book II will now come to Quest 2 this Winter, check out the segment from the Quest event below.
When the first game came out, it launched on PlayStation VR, but took a number of years to venture onto other VR platforms, the much shorter timeframe for Moss: Book II makes me very happy, as I am sure it does other players.
“One of the first things we heard when we launched Moss: Book II on PlayStation VR a few weeks ago was that the Quest 2 community wanted to play it, and we’re going to deliver on that in the very near future,” said Tam Armstrong, co-founder and CEO at Polyarc. “Our goal from day one has been getting the Moss franchise onto as many headsets as possible. We want all VR players to have the opportunity to experience the joy of physical interaction and power of the emotional resonance we’ve been building into the worlds we create. We’re excited to share our game with millions of Quest 2 players around the world this summer.”
Quest 2 players will find a deeper sense of immersion and physical connection to the world when leveraging the two-controller setup. Playing with two controllers provides a natural feeling, allowing players to express themselves more freely in the world when reaching in to manipulate the environment, interact with Quill, or engage the weapon inventory system during battle.
Overall, Moss: Book II pushes the limits of the current hardware generation, transporting players to a captivating world of breath-taking environments, rich storytelling, and elevated level and combat design that all together build upon the experience of the original Moss.
There is no set date yet, but the game is due to release sometime this Winter, once a date is known though, you can be sure we will let you know.
