Mortal Kombat 1 delivers new details on playable fighters and kameo fighters
WB Games and developer Netherealm Studios have announced two more playable characters in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1, Smoke and Rain. In addition to them, players who are eager to make full use of the Kameo Fighters will be able to swap in Sektor, Frost, Cyrax and Scorpion. Check out the new trailer for them below.
The trailer mainly focuses on Smoke and Rain, with Smoke being a fellow member of the ancient warrior clan with a mastery of stealth and practical magic. With deep ties to Scorpion and Sub-Zero, Smoke has made the clan’s mission his own and joins his Lin Kuei brethren in defense of Earthrealm.
Also featured in the trailer is Rain, a High Mage of Outworld who has honed his craft of water magic into a fierce weapon and now hopes to learn the realms’ darkest and most powerful sorcery.
The Kameo Fighters in action in this new trailer are Sektor, Cyrax, Frost, and Scorpion. Each of them will provide a wide range of support moves and abilities during matches and might just be what you need to claim a victory or two.
The game is coming on September 19th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Switch.
